I'm a Nigerian relationship therapist and certified matchmaker, but you'll mostly find me with my phone on a stand, talking to a stream of strangers about love.
Before matchmaking, I built a career in media, PR, and business development — I studied Mass Communication at Imo State University and picked up an MA in Public Relations from Birmingham City University. Along the way I lived in Australia and Canada, which taught me something I now build my whole business on: most people aren't bad at love, they're just never really seen.
That's where Datestreama came from. I started going live on TikTok as an experiment — read a few profiles, see what happened. What happened was a community. Now we're 386K+ strong and I'm live every single day at 4pm and 10pm WAT, reading real profiles and making real introductions.
When I'm not on the box, I run Tutor Connect Global, a platform that connects students with quality tutors, and I take private 1-on-1 matchmaking clients — usually diaspora folks who'd rather not have their love life narrated to a live audience.
The way I see it, love isn't luck. It's just two people paying attention at the same time. My job is to make sure that happens.
